Jobie’s Mobile Kitchen is a new and unique dining experience located in the heart of Bathurst, New Brunswick. This one of a kind Food Truck will offer a delicious seasonal menu, showcasing what Bathurst and the Chaleur region have to offer.

The truck will be located on the picturesque Bathurst Waterfront on the Queen Street Causeway, serving customers culinary delights in a new, yet casual atmosphere.

Joel Aubie, Chef and Owner of Jobie’s Mobile Kitchen, is originally from Bathurst, New Brunswick and has spent a number of years cooking his way across Canada and abroad. Joel set his sights on the West Coast of Vancouver Island in 2004, where he ultimately became the Head Chef at Shelter Restaurant in Tofino, BC. Over the course of his career, Joel’s successes have also branched out to include such endeavours as being chosen as a contestant on the Food Network’s Top Chef   Canada Season 2.

After achieving the goals he had set out to accomplish on the west coast and missing home on the east coast, he and his girlfriend /business partner Melanie McLean, also originally from Bathurst, decided to pack up their belongings, including their two dogs, GiGi and Chula to make the long trip back home to the Maritimes. In the Snap on Tool Truck they purchased with the intent of making Jobie’s Mobile Kitchen a reality, they moved back home to Bathurst in the summer of 2012.

They have since converted the truck to become Jobie’s Mobile Kitchen, a modern Food Truck experience for the people of Bathurst and the Chaleur Region. They will be serving gourmet street food with locally sourced products and globally inspired flavors.

Along with their daily street menu, which will be served from 11:30am to 7:30pm weekly, Jobie’s has the ability to cater a diverse range of events and can create menus depending on client’s individual needs. For more information on the menu and ways to inquire about catering, please visit the website www.jobiesmobilekitchen.wix.com/2013.

Joel is excited to take everything he has learned in his extensive 10 year cooking career, to the people of Bathurst and the Chaleur Region.
